    • Proven experience on heavy lifting such as platform installation and jacket installation is compulsory.

 

  • Condiciones:
    • 35 paid working days followed by 35 unpaid days of leave
    • 12 hours a day/ 7 days per week
    • Insurances and flights provided

 

 

  • Obligaciones:
    • Operate and take care of the crane
    • Carry out lifting operation in a safe manner

  • Requisitos:
    • Important Offshore Company of the Oil & Gas is looking for an HSE Engineer to be urgently placed in a Project in Cyprus.
    • Relevant Educational Certificate
    • NEBOSH or INCERTOSH if possible; with BOSIET valid;
    • More than 8 years in HSE
    • Languages: English fluent in writing and speaking, Greek desired

 

  • Condiciones:
    • Duration: 9 months, renewable
    • Rotation: 75/21 (75 consecutive calendar days on site followed by 21 unpaid consecutive calendar days of vacation)
    • Working days/hours: 60 hours per week, comprising 6 days per week and 10 hours per day

    • More than 8 years relevant experience
    • Languages: English fluent

 

  • Condiciones:
    • Duration: 12 months, renewable
    • Rotation: 60/20 (60 consecutive calendar days on site followed by 20 unpaid consecutive calendar days of vacation leave)
    • Working days/hours: 72 hours per week, comprising 6 days per week and 12 hours per day

EMPLEO EN IMPORTANTE EMPRESA DEL SECTOR OIL&GAS JLT/VLS CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR EN DUBAI

  • Nombre del puesto JLT/VLS CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR en Dubai

 

  • Requisitos:
    • Oil & Gas Company is looking for candidates for the position as JLT/VLS Control Room Operator onboard of Pipelay Crane Vessel (currently in Dubai).
    • School background from Technical Institute (mechanic, maritime nautical school or electrical/electronic Institute)
    • Prior experience as J-Lay tower operators, Flexlay tower operators, Laytech, Lay technicians.
    • Experience with reeling and umbilical installation are necessary.
    • Potentially, VLS experience could also be considered.

 

  • Condiciones:
    • Rotation/Leave: 35 paid working days followed by 35 unpaid days of leave
    • Working hours: 12 hours a day/ 7days per week

  • Obligaciones:​
    • On vessels with J-Lay tower, operate the J-Lay tower and all associated equipment, including the Heave compensator, the abandonment/recovery winches and the loading arm
    • On vessels with VLS systems, operate the VLS and all associated equipment, including carousels and reel hub drives
    • Under the direction of the 1st Assistant and the Offshore Construction Manager, operate the J-Lay tower and/or the VLS from the control room (or on local consolles where applicable), including operation of all associated equipment, to ensure a safe handling of the product being installed
    • Within own remit, ensure that the 1st Assistant is kept fully informed of construction status and potential problems, including reporting of any abnormal conditions or lay parameters
    • Within own remit, report malfunctions and alarms to the mechanical and/or electrical team for verification and intervention as applicable
    • Ensure the compliance with the standard determinated by Saipem QHSE Policy and safety procedures, in order to perform the activity in a safe manner
    • Report near misses and incidents to the 1st Assistant
    • Participate to Tool Box Talks, JSA and Risk Assessments as required
    • Within own remit, ensure that the Permit-to-work system is correctly adhered to and respected
    • Ensure that an adequate hand-over is carried out at the end and beginning of each shift
    • Ensure that a detailed log is kept of the activities carried out from the JLT / VLS control room
    • Assist the Field engineer in the monitoring of JLT and VLS activities as required
    • Report to the 1st Assistant

    • At least 5 years of experiences in this role on Offshore Construction vessels.
    • Experiences on subsea activities, transpooling.

 

  • Condiciones:
    • Work/Leave Rotation to be determined
    • Working hours: 12 hours a day/7 days a week

  • Obligaciones:​
    • Safely coordinate and directs lifting operations
    • Manage the deck space to ensure optimal use for the purpose of project execution and maintenance activities
    • Coordinate and direct the rigging crew and the crane operators, establishing their roles and positions, in order to safely execute lifting operations according to the lifting procedures
    • Supervise rigging/derigging operations
    • Manage the deck space in order to optimise the deck movements of cranes, forklifts and personnel and the access to materials and equipment positioned on the deck
    • Control the work activity of riggers and helpers
    • Ensure all rigging and lifting appliances on board are certified for use in a suitable condition and properly stored
    • Ensure that all rigging operations are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with the instructions given
    • Ensure that only certified gear is used during lifting operation
    • Manage the handling of material and consumables to be assigned to each work site
    • Monitor the conditions of all lifting gear before, during and after use and reports any damages
    • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near-miss events
    • Assist during marine operations if required
    • Perform Tool Box talks meetings at the beginning of each shift (and whenever required) and preapre JSA when required
    • Perform any additional duties within the limits of his/her own experience and capabilities, as required by the 1st Assistant on duty
    • Stop activities if required on safety grounds, whenever continuing could cause any damages or injuries
    • In offshore operations, report to the 1st Assistant
